Skeleton

$50.00

Dimensions: 7 × 9 inches
Medium: Acrylic and watercolor on mixed media paper (unframed)
Dreamtober Collection: This limited-edition artwork is part of my Dreamtober series—a daily art challenge exploring unique themes each day throughout October.

This piece was inspired by a specific set of nightmares. For weeks I dealt with intense physical leg pain which resulted in repeated episodes of sleep paralysis. The paralysis grew into a cycle of nightmares, with the pain making me vulnerable to sleep demons. But in one pivotal dream, my grandmother’s spirit appeared, casting out the presence that had plagued my sleep. When I woke up, the pain that had troubled me for weeks seemed to have dissipated, as though her protective energy had lingered.
