This recent nightmare unfolded while my brother Jeremy was in St. Augustine. I dreamt we were in our old house, and Jeremy had just put Mugger to bed in in our parent’s old room. I left the room and walked to the living room, where Jeremy now sat texting. Confusion set in as I realized I had seen him in two places at once. It felt like something sinister was at play, and I began to worry that the second Jeremy was a demonic presence.
When I woke at 3 AM in real life, I checked Jeremy’s location and for a moment, it said he couldn’t be found. The next morning, he told me he had a nightmare too around the same time, waking up to the chilling sight of someone standing over him.
